The AP reports that Chad Pennington threw on Monday for the first time since suffering a serious wrist injury in the preseason. Pennington made about 50 throws and wore a brace on his left hand. Presumably that means that Pennington was actually taking snaps of some sort, since the injury was to his non-throwing hand. Pennington is expected to return no sooner than November 9.

Chad Pennington dislocated and fractured his left (non-throwing) wrist during Saturday's exhibition game, according to the AP. He was undergoing emergency surgery on the joint Saturday night. He is out indefinitely, which means Vinny Testaverde is back at the helm for the Jets.
