Tom Brady is listed as questionable this week with shoulder and shin injuries, according to the Boston Globe. He's been listed as probable with a shoulder injury for two seasons now, but the shin injury and downgraded status are new. He was able to practice some yesterday, but the Pats, of course, aren't elaborating. "I'm doing better than I was a few days ago," Brady said. "You guys know (coach Bill) Belichick, so I'm not going to talk about this stuff. He's given me strict instructions to keep quiet, so that's what I'm doing."

Tom Brady was listed on Wednesday's official injury report as "questionable" for Saturday's game against the Buccaneers with a mild shoulder injury, according to the AP. Brady suffered a lower leg injury on Sunday, and that - not the shoulder - may be the primary reason for his questionable status. Brady has started the last 84 regular and postseason games for the Pats.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick said yesterday that Tom Brady is “fine” after suffering a minor leg injury Sunday, according to the Boston Herald. “I don’t think it’s anything too major,” Brady said. “It’s feeling kind of what I expected this morning. It’s exactly like I got hit on it, a little stiff.”

September 7, 2005
Tom Brady begins the season as probable due to a right shoulder injury, according to the Boston Globe. There isn't much to be concerned about, as he was listed as probable all last season with a right shoulder injury and never missed any action.

April 14, 2005
While the Patriots and Tom Brady still remain apart on terms of a new contract, Brady says he plans to honor his current deal if a new one can't be struck, according to the Boston Globe. "I have two years on my contract and I plan to honor that," Brady said. "I signed a contract three years ago for five years, and I'll be here through 2006."
February 26, 2005
The Patriots appear to be on the verge of signing Tom Brady to a long-term contract extension, according to the Boston Herald.
