Our View:He is considered day-to-day. He is not competing for a starting job at either of the safety spots, and is only going to serve as a reserve with the team.

Greg Wesley was a surprise attendee at Friday's team mini-camp, according to the Kansas City Star.

Our View:Wesley recented commented that he was finished as a member of the Chiefs, and was told that he would be released or dealt prior to mini-camp. He participated in position drills but sat out the second half of the 90-minute practice session. The team had a possible deal worked out with the Broncos, but it ultimately fell through.
