Offensive lineman Keydrick Vincent has won the job as the Panthers starting right guard, according to Sporting News Today. He was battling Toniu Fonoti for the position.

Our View:Vincent is a big man at 6-5, 325 pounds, and will provide power blocking up the middle for backs Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams.

The Charlotte Observer is reporting that the Carolina Panthers have signed free agent guard Keydrick Vincent , to a two-year, $2 million deal. The mammoth guard, 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds, will be 30 in April, notes the report. Vincent played in eight games for the Cardinals last season and adds depth to a talented Panthers offensive line. We don't expect Vincent to challenge either right guard Jeremy Bridges or left guard Justin Hartwig for a starting role.

Keydrick Vincent took part in his first practice in eight days on Saturday, according to the Baltimore Sun. He aggravated his troublesome groin injury recently. "I feel good," Vincent said. "I got to practice today. Everything feels good. I've got to build from that and be ready to go."

Keydrick Vincent participated in his first full practice yesterday and declared himself available to play in Kansas City on Sunday, according to the Baltimore Sun. "They got it strengthened up, and I'm ready to go," said Vincent. Vincent is questionable with a groin injury. He's missed the last three games with the malady.

Keydrick Vincent returned to practice on Tuesday, according to the Baltimore Sun. Vincent has missed the past two games after tweaking a groin muscle Nov. 19. He's considered questionable for Thursday's game, though coach Brian Billick said he was "fairly optimistic" that Vincent will return to action.
