The Jacksonville Jaguars have lost another offensive lineman for the entire season, as they have put Maurice Williams on injured reserve after he ruptured his right biceps, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

Our View:Williams becomes the second starting offensive lineman to be put on IR, along with Vince Manuwai. It remains to be seen how this will affect the fantasy status of Maurice Jones-Drew or Fred Taylor in the running game.

Maurice Williams will miss at least two months after rupturing his right biceps, according to the AP.

Our View:Coach Jack Del Rio may decide to place Williams on season-ending IR. The team is already playing without center Brad Meester (right biceps), and lost left guard Vince Manuwai for for entire season due to a torn ACL in his right knee. The team will work out several offensive linemen, including Chris Liwienski, who was waived in late August.

Coach Jack Del Rio is calling guard Maurice Williams' knee injury minor and doesn't expect him to miss a significant amount of regular-season playing time, according to the Sporting News.

Our View:The Jags have already lost center Brad Meester for the season with a biceps tear, thus the news on Williams is nothing short of relieving.

Maurice Williams has agreed in principle to a four-year, $16 million deal including $4 million in guaranteed money, according to ESPN. Depending on how much the team uses him, he could make another $500,000 a year. His agents, Tom Condon and Ken Kramer, were flooded with phone calls as free agency opened last week for Williams, who was being sought after as a tackle. He was considered one of the top right tackle prospects on the market.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed offensive lineman Maurice Williams to an undisclosed contract, according to jaguars.com. Williams replaced Chris Naeole at right guard midway through last season, after Naeole sustained a season-ending leg injury. Previously, he was a starter for six seasons at right tackle. Williams, who accepted a salary cut last season in exchange for a reduction of his contract to one year, was looking forward to finding a new team in free agency and a return to right tackle, his preferred position. It appears the organization has changed his thinking with the new deal.
