On Thursday, Daniel Wilcox was held out of practice due to an injured shoulder, according the Baltimore Sun.

Our View:Wilcox has caught six balls but is only averaging three yards a catch. With Todd Heap getting most of the catches Wilcox doesn't have much fantasy value.

Daniel Wilcox is pushing to play in the final two preseason games. He came off the PUP list on Friday. "I don't feel like I'm where I need to be," Wilcox tells the Baltimore Sun. "I've got a lot of learning to do, I've got a lot of running to do and a lot of cutting before I can declare myself to be in football shape and hitting shape." He underwent surgery in January to repair a sprained big left toe.

Our View:Wilcox likely realizes that the door is open for playing time. Todd Heap has been out due to a calf injury, and Quinn Sypniewski (knee) is out for the year. Cam Cameron typically likes to use his tight ends, but he doesn't have much to work with at the moment.

Tight end Daniel Wilcox did not return to practice with the team on Thursday as they prepared for their Monday night game against the Steelers, according to the Baltimore Sun. Wilcox has missed three straight games, and five total, after suffering an ankle injury in week one and tweaking it in week four.

Ravens back-up tight end Daniel Wilcox has been listed as out for this week’s game against the Rams. Wilcox is behind Todd Heap on the depth chart, but Heap is listed as probable for Sunday’s tilt.
