He'll be fine."

Brett Favre admitted Tuesday that he hadn't been in the best shape the last couple years, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentintel. "I know it's always upset me when I came into camp and saw a guy out of shape," Favre said. "I've seen it done right and somewhat right, and I've seen guys do it wrong. I felt I was turning into one of those guys." Favre hired a personal trainer to push him. Coach Mike Sherman and some teammates have stated that Favre looks quicker than he has in the past.

Brett Favre hasn't told the Packers if he's going to retire or not this offseason, but the team is conducting business like he's going to be their starting quarterback again in 2005, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette. "I don’t have a specific reason to think he won’t be back," Packers GM Ted Thompson said. "The only thing I know is the same thing he said after the (last) game, when he said he wanted to think about things. I think that was the gist of what he said. But I haven’t talked to Brett. I think he’s going through this time where he needs to think it out, and he’s earned that time."
