October 7, 2008 Seahawks running back Maurice Morris will be back in the mix, getting carries, as he returns from a knee injury, according to the Our View:Morris' almost certainly means fewer carries for Julius Jones. However, Seattle coach Mike Holmgren did state that he is intent on getting the running game started, so it is possible both will get enough carries to be fantasy-worthy. |

October 1, 2008 The Our View:Good news for Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett. When Morris does return, expect him to see 10-15 carries a game despite the success of the running game in his absence. |

September 29, 2008 Maurice Morris did not practice on Monday according to the Our View:He has not been ruled out for Week 5 but even if he were, it's uncertain whether he would still be splitting carries with Julius Jones who has done very well in his absence. |

September 22, 2008 Maurice Morris is expected to return in Week 5, after the club's Week 4 bye, after missing Week 3 due to a knee injury, according to Our View:Julius Jones has been a revelation the past two weeks, but even with his solid work, HC Mike Holmgren is not yet ready to comment on how the backfield snaps will break down when Morris returns other than to say that T.J. Duckett will likely lose touches. |
