"I could tolerate it when I'm running," Taylor said. "It's really not that bad when I cut. It's all about what happens if I get hit. I haven't got hit yet." If the Vikings hold out Taylor for the second consecutive game, they would fall back to their rotation of Artose Pinner, Ciatrick Fason and Mewelde Moore.

Taylor said "the plan is to play" Sunday against the Jets. "It's not so much the sensitivity," coach Brad Childress said. "It's all the twisting and fighting for extra yards and that type of thing. We'll just see how comfortable he is as he gets out there. It's one thing to be in shorts. It's another thing to be in pads."
