The Vikings were without Adrian Peterson Sunday, but their running game certainly didn't suffer, as Chester Taylor torched the Raiders for 164 yards and three TDs on 22 carries. He also added 38 yards on three receptions. It's not clear how long AD will be out, but in the meantime, Taylor will be a solid fantasy option.

It appears that the Vikings may get Chester Taylor back in action for Week 3. Although he's listed a questionable, he said he should be all right for the game, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. "I'm looking forward to playing," he said. "Right now, I'm supposed to be playing so I'll take it from there." Since he's still not fully recovered from his hip injury, you won't want to play him. His status is more relevant to the overall production of Adrian Peterson, who should still handle the bulk of carries, regardless.

Chester Taylor owners will have to wait until Wednesday to get an update on his health status. Head coach Brad Childress told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune on Monday that he will not comment on Taylor's status for Week 3 until then. Taylor missed Week 2 with a hip/oblique injury. Taylor's status for Sunday's game against the Chiefs will have a big impact on Adrian Peterson's fantasy value. Whether Chester Taylor will suit up and play Sunday against the Lions will be his decision. "Sometimes those things get better as they go," Childress told the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
