February 26, 2008 Dallas Cowboys President Stephen Jones said the organization would not negotiate a new contract for RT Marc Colombo, according to the Star-Telegram. Colombo, who had various injury problems earlier in his career, has compiled 32 straight starts during the past two campaigns in Dallas. He has one-year left on the deal he signed in 2007 that will pay him $2 million this season.
February 15, 2008 Marc Colombo is seeking restructured contract that would extend his current deal, keeping him in Dallas long term, according to the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram. "I would like them to put an investment in me for the future," said Colombo, who was at the Michael Johnson Performance Center on Thursday. "I want to be around for the new stadium." Colombo, who has resurrected his career in Dallas, hasn’t missed a start in the past two seasons. The offensive tackle is signed through the 2008 season, but is obviously enamored with the possibility of remaining in Dallas for the next few seasons.

Adams is coming off left knee surgery, and Colombo is recovering from a right knee operation.
