Jeb Putzier has re-signed with the Seahawks, according to Scout.com.

Our View:Barring injuries, Putzier will hold no fantasy value as the Seahawks' No. 3 tight end.

Jeb Putzier was released by the Seahawks on Saturday, according to the Tacoma News Tribune. Putzier's release allowed the team to make room for safety Jamar Adams, who the Seahawks signed off of their practice squad.

Our View:Putzier's career may be winding down as this is the second time he's been cut in the past year, as Houston got rid of him as well.

Jeb Putzier was seen limping on Tuesday and is not participating in minicamp practices, the Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Our View:Putzier and Will Heller stand in the way of John Carlson stepping into the starting lineup, and we'll be disappointed if the rookie can't leap over those two veterans. Jeb has no fantasy value.

The Seattle Seahawks have only just begun to revamp the tight-end position with the acquisition of free agent Jeb Putzier, according to Pro Football Weekly. In the best-case scenario, the organization envisions Putzier as a much more dependable No. 3 tight end than Bennie Joppru, who was dreadful last season. Word is the team is more than willing to live with Will Heller as the No. 2 tight end, but considers finding an upgrade via the draft or free agency a top priority.
