Kicker Matt Bryant was the star in the Week 11 win over the Vikings. He kicked four field goals and added an extra point in the 19-13 win. Bryant has multiple field goals in eight straight games.

Our View:The Bucs continue to have problems punching the ball into the red zone, but it's good news for fantasy owners counting on Bryant. He is already up to 24 field goals.

Matt Bryant was limited in Thursday's practice due to a sore hamstring, according to the Tampa Tribune. He may be questionable for Sunday's game against Seattle.

Our View:If you have another option at kicker, it's probably time to use him. Bryant missed his first field goal of the season on Sunday. It was his only attempt this season from 50 yards or longer.

After a rough start to the week Matt Bryant ended Week 4 with a good Sunday. Bryant's young son passed away early in the week but he wanted to kick in the Buccaneer's game versus the Packers. That is exactly what he did and he was named the NFC special teams player of the week, according to Scout.com.

Our View:Bryant is 8-for-8 in field goals and has been perfect on extra points (11-for-11).

The St. Petersburg Times reports that Matt Bryant will kick this Sunday against Green Bay. Tampa Bay does not have any other kickers on their roster.

Our View:Bryant is dealing with the loss of his 3-month old sold who suddenly died earlier in the week. Our thoughts go out to him and his family.

Matt Bryant isn't certain to suit up for the Bucs in Week 4 as he is still trying to process the loss of his 3-month old sold who suddenly died, according to The Orlando Sentinel.

Our View:First off, our thoughts go out to the entire Bryant family. Secondly, the club has not signed any other kickers this week which leads to the obvious conclusion that Bryant will be on the field this weekend. In an emergency, safety Sabby Piscitelli would be forced to take over.

Tampa Bay said they will allow kicker Matt Bryant to decide whether or not he wants to play Week 4, according to the Tampa Tribune.

Our View:Bryant's three-month old son passed away on Wednesday, and he and his family are mourning the loss.

Tragedy hit the Buccaneers on Wednesday when kicker Matt Bryant's infant son was found dead. Head coach Jon Gruden made the announcement after practice on Wednesday but did not give any details, according to the AP.

Our View:The Bucs have not made announcement on the availability of Bryant for Week 4.

Buccaneers kicker Matt Bryant had a horrific preseason, and the team is now trying out kickers at their practice on Monday, according to the Tampa Tribune.

Our View:The paper was unsure of who the particular kickers were, but this is not a surprising move considering how awful Bryant was. Stay tuned if you have him as your kicker on your fantasy squad.

Matt Bryant may have missed five field goals in Tampa Bay's final preseason game last night, but coach Jon Gruden insists he is their leg for 2008, according to the Tampa Tribune. "We need him to be our leading scorer just like every other kicker is in this league," Gruden said. "He's got the talent and certainly he can get it done. I have confidence he will."

Our View:That confidence is based not just on Bryant's track record (he's made 83 percent of his tries since joining the Bucs in 2005) but on the way he finished that game in Houston. After missing first on a 54-yard try and then on a 36-yard try, Bryant bounced back to make three field goals of 40, 29 and 31 yards to finish the preseason 7-for-12.

Kicker Matt Bryant missed five field goals in the team's preseason game, and the team is concerned, even after his stellar season a year ago, according to the Tampa Tribune.

Our View:To put it in perspective, Bryant only missed five field goals in 16 games last season. If fantasy owners drafted him (hopefully in the last round), they too, should be concerned and maybe look elsewhere on the waiver wire if he struggles Week 1.
