L.J. Smith has been ruled out for Week 9 due to his concussion, according to Adam Schefter of the NFL Network.

Eagles tight end L.J. Smith did not practice with the team due to a concussion, and may not suit up against the Seahawks, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. "I understand that your brain is fairly important," said Eagles coach Andy Reid.

Our View:Scientific evidence has proven Reid to be correct, the brain is fairly important. So if Smith's stops him from playing, Brent Celek would play more snaps. He had two catches for 28 yards last week.
