Kelley Washington returned to practice Thursday, according to the Boston Globe. He has missed the last four games and more than a month of practice with a right ankle injury.

Our View:Washington holds little to no fantasy value as the Patriots' No. 4 receiver, but is a solid contributor on special teams.

Kelley Washington has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable for Week 7, according to the Boston Globe. He is dealing with an ankle injury.

Our View:Either way, Washington holds no fantasy value while serving as a backup receiver.

Patriots inactives: QB Matt Gutierrez (3rd), WR Kelley Washington, WR Maurice Price, DB Lewis Sanders, LB Eric Alexander, G Dan Connolly, T Wesley Britt, LB Shawn Crable.

Our View:None of the players on this list are fantasy relevant. The Patriots are healthy on both sides of the football following their Week 4 "bye".

The New England Patriots and wide receiver/special teams ace Kelley Washington have agreed to terms on an undisclosed contract, according to boston.com. Washington didn't receive significant playing time on offense -- he played in only 37 snaps all season -- but was a consistent presence on special teams. Washington could be looking at increased opportunities in the passing game next year, depending on the changes in personnel at the position during the offseason.

Not surprisingly, the Patriots informed Kelley Washington that they have no intention of picking up his $4 million option bonus this spring. However, the team would like to bring him back with a smaller deal, according to the Boston Globe. Washington didn't catch a pass last year but is an excellent special teams player.
