October 12, 2008
Justin Fargas had only 10 carries for 35 yards in his return from a groin injury on Sunday.

Our View:The Raiders were playing from behind for most of the game, so Fargas didn't get a chance to make a big impact.
October 12, 2008
Raiders inactives: QB Marques Tuiasosopo (3rd), WR Todd Watkins, DB Rashad Baker, DE Derrick Burgess, T James Marten, C John Wade, TE Ben Troupe. TE John Madsen.

Our View:Justin Fargas (groin) will start at running back, while Darren McFadden (toe) is also active and will back him up.
October 10, 2008
Justin Fargas fully practiced without restrictions Friday, according to the Oakland Tribune. He had been dealing with a groin injury.

Our View:Rookie Darren McFadden was limited due to his toe injury, but acting head coach Tom Cable believes he will play, and intends to cycle him and Fargas Sunday against the Saints' 16th ranked run defense. Fargas is likely to start and is the preferred fantasy back among the pair.
October 9, 2008
Justin Fargas practiced at full-speed Wednesday, according to the SF Chronicle. This marks the first time he did so in three weeks due to a groin injury.

Our View:Fargas looks to be ready to play this weekend in a favorable match-up against the Saints.
October 6, 2008
Justin Fargas, who has been dealing with a groin injury, returned to practice Monday, according to the Oakland Tribune.

Our View:He is expected to return to battle in Week 6 at New Orleans, but will be a risky fantasy option despite the favorable match-up, as his role and workload will be in question under new head coach Tom Cable.
