November 20, 2008 Both Pat and Kevin Williams are expected to be at practice for Minnesota on Friday, according to the Our View:The two mammoth defensive tackles are in New York having their appeals heard. Each was suspended four games for violating the league's steroid policy. |

October 27, 2008 Coach Brad Childress stated that he expects to have Kevin Williams and Pat Williams in the starting lineup at defensive tackle next Sunday against the Texans, according to the Our View:Childress had no comment Monday on a FOX Sports report that both defensive tackles have tested positive for one of the NFL’s banned substances. That would mean a four-game suspension pending appeal. The league’s policy is supposed to be confidential, so coaches and the NFL cannot comment. |
