October 6, 2008
E.J. Henderson has been placed on the season ending injured reserve list due to two dislocated toes, according to the Kansas City Star. Henderson's roster spot will likely be taken by LT Bryant McKinnie.

Our View:Henderson had missed only three games in his six year career, and coming off a season of 119 tackles this is a huge loss to the Vikes linebacking corps as well as those IDP owners who had counted on E.J. in '08.

Linebacker E.J. Henderson did not travel with the Vikings for their Week 5 game in New Orleans. He was listed as doubtful due to two dislocated toes on his left foot. Head coach Brad Childress has declined to address reports that Henderson could miss a month, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. David Herron will likely start in Henderson's place.

Our View:This news shouldn't surprise anyone, given previous reports about Henderson. IDP fantasy owners should plan on being without E.J. for a few weeks.

E.J. Henderson is simply listed as doubtful for this weekend, but not only is he unlikely to play this weekend, he could miss at least a month with two dislocated toes in his left foot, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. "It's kind of hard to tell really what is going on structurally," coach Brad Childress said. "They just can't get as good of feel as they'd like to."

Our View:The exact length of Henderson's absence won't be determined until the swelling subsides. Surgery could be an option. David Herron will fill in at middle linebacker while Henderson is out.
October 2, 2008
Vikings linebacker E.J. Henderson is unlikely to play on Sunday due to continued swelling in dislocated toes, and he is wearing a walking boot, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Our View:Henderson did not attend practice on Thursday, and until the swelling in his toes subsides, there is no telling how serious the injury is.
September 29, 2008
It has been revealed that E.J. Henderson dislocated two toes on his left foot during Sunday's loss to the Titans, according to the Pioneer Press.

Our View:As of now, coach Brad Childress indicated there is no timetable for his return. He will be evaluated further after meeting with the medical staff.
