Brooks Bollinger has been upgraded to probable for Sunday's game with the Rams, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He's dealing with a shoulder injury. Tarvaris Jackson remains the Minnesota starter.

Brooks Bollinger is listed as questionable for Sunday's game with the Jets. He's still dealing with a shoulder injury. Bollinger's injury came at a terrible time for him and the club, as the Vikings have been unhappy with Brad Johnson's play for most of the year. Alas, Bollinger may not be healthy enough to make an impact down the stretch.

Brooks Bollinger is considered doubtful for Sunday's game at Detroit due to his shoulder injury, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports. There's a fair chance Bollinger would have started this game had his shoulder been right, as the Vikings haven't been happy with Brad Johnson's play for much of the season.

Brooks Bollinger took over for the struggling Brad Johnson in the third quarter Sunday and completed 7-of-9 passes for 70 yards. Bollinger was replaced by Tarvaris Jackson late in the game after being shaken up by a sack. It's unclear which QB will get the starting nod in Week 14.

The Vikings signed Brooks Bollinger to a two-year contract extension, locking him up through 2008. Bollinger is expected to back up Brad Johnson this season. Long term, he and rookie Tarvaris Jackson will both be given the chance to prove they can be the quarterback of the future.

The Vikings acquired Brooks Bollinger from the Jets Thursday for defensive tackle C.J. Mosley and an undisclosed draft choice, according to the AP. The Vikes were looking to add some depth at quarterback behind starter Brad Johnson.
