Newsbreakers
January 5, 2009
Yeremiah Bell will be a free agent in the off-season, but stated that he would like to remain in Miami, according to the Palm Beach Post. He said, "It would be very difficult for me to walk away from this. I’ve been here my whole career and I would hate to leave these guys. These guys are like family to me, like brothers, and I really couldn’t dream of going anywhere."

Our View:Bell was a key contributor to the Dolphins' defense this season with 120 tackles (100 solo) and three forced fumbles. He would likely remain a solid option for IDP leagues in 2009 if he retains his starting gig at safety with the club.
November 23, 2008
Safety Yeremiah Bell had nine tackles and one sack in Week 12.

Our View:Bell is having an outstanding year and has been quite the find for fantasy owners with 85 tackles already.
September 4, 2008
Safety Yeremiah Bell has been so impressive in the preseason that the Dolphins are working on giving him a contract extension, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View:Bell did not play much last season due to a ruptured Achilles injury, but he apparently has been so good that the team thinks he could be a player who becomes a Pro Bowler.
May 21, 2008
Yeremiah Bell is recovering favorably from his ruptured left Achilles injury, as he is moving well during practice, according to the Miami Herald. He is not quite 100 percent yet, but is reportedly very close.

Our View:The coaches like Bell, and he will likely be the starting strong safety, barring any setbacks in his recovery. Bell could be the most talented defensive back on the Dolphins' roster.
March 12, 2008
Yeremiah Bell is likely a lock to start at strong safety for the Miami Dolphins, according to the Miami Herald. Bell started 11 games in 2006 for the Dolphins, but missed 15 games last year due to a torn Achilles tendon. This type of injury is no walk-in-the-park to return from, so potential owners will want to monitor his progress during the offseason program and training camp.
