Todd Johnson is expected to see more action while pushing Corey Chavous at safety, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View:This is encouraging news for Johnson, but the sixth year vet has failed to make an impact so far in the NFL, and does not merit fantasy consideration for the closing weeks of the season.

Todd Johnson will miss a second straight game Sunday while he waits for his bruised kidney to heal, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He said, "I didn't feel like I was injured, per se, so I was a little surprised that they had to keep me overnight. But I guess when you've got blood in your urine, that's not a good thing."

Our View:Johnson is not a solid safety and holds no fantasy value for IDP leagues as a reserve.

The Rams signed Todd Johnson to a four-year deal Thursday, according to Sports Network. Financial terms weren't disclosed. Johnson had 34 tackles, one forced fumble and 10 special teams tackles in 12 games with the Bears last year.
