MLive.com reports that the Lions are once again experimenting with using tackle Cory Redding at left defensive end.

Our View:No matter where Redding lines up, he is not likely to have any value in IDP leagues.

Despite the fact he has not practiced much due to an ankle malady, Lions defensive tackle Cory Redding says he will play on Sunday against the 49ers, according to the Detroit Free Press. "There ain't no 'think' about it. I'm playing," he said.

Our View:The team has a bye Week 4, which would afford Redding's ankle the opportunity to heal if he can make it through Sunday's contest. Either way, don't even think about using Detroit's D/ST unit in fantasy leagues.

Our View:Redding is paid like an elite defensive lineman, but it is not translating in his stats as he is yet to register a sack over two games, with six tackles.
