The AP reports that The Giants have until Wednesday to make a decision on the future of receiver David Tyree. The Super Bowl hero was placed on the physically unable to perform list before the start of training camp because he was still recovering from offseason knee surgery. “Well, we will see,” coach Tom Coughlin said Monday. “Obviously, you are talking about a guy that has played extremely well for our team. But it is again going to come down to the decision this week on where we are physically.”

Our View:Tyree does not figure to make any kind of impact in fantasy leagues even if he is activated.

David Tyree has been activated from the PUP list following his recovery from knee surgery, according to the AP.

Our View:He will practice this week, and the Giants have three weeks to decide whether to place him on the active roster, put him on IR or cut him. The Super Bowl hero will hold little fantasy value while fighting for playing time in a deep and talented Giants' receiving corps.
October 14, 2008
David Tyree will practice with the team for the first time tomorrow since being placed on the PUP list, according to the Giants' official site. He is coming back from knee surgery.

Our View:The Giants will have three weeks to add the Super Bowl hero to the roster, place him on injured reserve or release him.

David Tyree has been placed on the PUP list as he is still recovering from off-season knee surgery, according to Slam Sports.

Our View:The Super Bowl hero won't be able to return before Week 7, and will be buried on the bottom of the depth chart at receiver, meaning he isn't worth waiting for.
