September 28, 2008 Wide receiver Kevin Walter caught eight passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 4 loss to Jacksonville. Our View:After three games, Walter has compiled 15 receptions for 133 yards and three scores. With Andre Johnson on the opposite side, Walter will never see any double teams and the Texans have a favorable schedule over the next month. |

March 19, 2006 The Bengals declined to match the four-year, $6.4 million offer sheet that Kevin Walter signed with the Texans, according to the Houston Chronicle. Corey Bradford and Jabar Gaffney left via free agency, so Walter will get to battle for playing time at wide receiver, as well as on special teams. |

March 14, 2006 Kevin Walter signed an offer sheet on a four-year, $6.4 million contract Sunday with the Texans on Monday, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. The Bengals have seven days to decide if they will match and sign Walter to that contract. "We'll tell you that in six and a half or seven days," Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said Monday. |
