September 21, 2008 The NFL Network is reporting this morning that cornerback Chris Gamble (arm) will be a game-time decision today against Minnesota. Our View:Gamble has stormed out of the gate with 12 solos and two fumble recoveries during the first two weeks of play. His absence would likely result in more playing time for Richard Marshall, who has been limited this season with a thigh injury. |

September 19, 2008 Chris Gamble (arm) is listed as questionable in the Panthers' injury report according to Our View:Gamble has gotten off to a hot start in 2008 with 13 tackles, two fumble recoveries and a touchdown through two weeks. Do not expect him to miss more than one game, if that. |

September 7, 2008 Chris Gamble recovered a fumble and returned it 31 yards for a touchdown helping the underdog Panthers to a 26-24 victory over Chargers on Sunday. Our View:The Panthers defense rewarded their fantasy faithful on Sunday with the defensive score. However, the unit gave up 24 points and over 300 yards of total offense to Phillip Rivers, LaDainian Tomlinson and the Chargers. |

August 6, 2008 Carolina Panthers CB Chris Gamble tweaked his hamstring during Wednesday's practice while attempting to defend a pass, according to the Our View:Gamble did not return to practice, but team officials believe that the injury is not serious. |

May 8, 2008 Chris Gamble and Ken Lucas are still working as the Panthers' starting cornerbacks in practice, according to Our View:Gamble and Lucas are a solid tandem, but Marshall is talented enough to push for a starting spot, and may unseat one of the aforementioned players at some point this season. Gamble only made one interception in 2007, with 47 tackles. Marshall made 89 tackles and three interceptions last season, and is a player to watch in 2008. |
