The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host Detroit free agent linebacker Teddy Lehman today, according to the Tampa Tribune. The organization is in the market to add some depth on the roster behind Barrett Rudd in the middle. Lehman started 16 games in his rookie campaign, but has missed 23 games due to various injuries over the past three seasons. Lehman is familiar with the Cover 2 scheme, which gives him a little bit of juice in the negotiations.

Teddy Lehman is expected to come off the PUP list next week and begin practicing with the Lions, according to the Detroit Free Press. He's missed the first five games while recovering from foot surgery. "I just want to see him get the pads on next week and just see where he's at, too," coach Rod Marinelli said. "You don't want to rush him and all of a sudden he's not really ready."
