Samie Parker has been released by the Seahawks, according to the News Tribune. The team signed wide receiver Michael Bumpus from the practice squad as the adjoining move.

Our View:Parker is not likely to catch on with another NFL club and make an impact. He couldn't even stick with Seattle, who are very thin at the position right now due to injuries.

Dealing with a plethora of injuries to their wide receiving corps, the Seattle Seahawks have signed free agent wideout Samie Parker, according to ESPN.com.

Our View:Parker was released by Carolina earlier in the season, but he did have some decent years with Kansas City. Depending on how quickly he picks up the playbook, he could see some snaps soon, but probably not enough to make him worthy of fantasy consideration.

During almost every break in practice Wednesday, Samie Parker went to the sideline, pulled out a sheet of paper and studied his new plays. On Thursday, in his second full day as a Panther and only three days after he was released by Denver, Parker will likely play for Carolina in its final preseason game at Pittsburgh, according to the AP.

Our View:The Panthers must cut 21 players by Saturday, so Parker needs to make some plays Thursday if he wants a spot on the roster.

Samie Parker has been picked up by the Panthers one day after being let go by the Broncos, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Our View:He will bring speed and experience to the Panthers' receiving corps, and could also be considered for special teams as a kick returner. The team feels he will fit their system well, but he isn't likely to make an impact as a fantasy receiver.
