Carey Davis has been nursing an undisclosed injury, but should be good to go for Sunday's divisional playoff game against the Chargers at Heinz Field, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The team is coming off a first-round bye.

Our View:Davis is merely adequate as a pro but the club will still be pleased to have their starting fullback in place.

Head coach Mike Tomlin said that Carey Davis will be ready to play in Week 8, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune.

Our View:With Davis back in the lineup, Sean McHugh will go back to his familiar role as an H-back.

Carey Davis will miss Week 7 against the Bengals due to his sprained ankle, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Our View:H-back Sean McHugh will likely cover his spot at fullback. Davis is merely adequate as an NFL pro, and holds no fantasy value either.

Carey Davis is progressing in his recovery from a sprained ankle, but coach Mike Tomlin said it is too early to determine if he can play Sunday at Jacksonville, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Our View:Davis is currently the only fullback on the Steelers' roster. Najeh Davenport has experience working at fullback while with Green Bay, and could be employed at the position if Davis is unable to go. That would leave most of the workload at running back to Mewelde Moore, with Willie Parker and Rashard Mendenhall out. H-Back Sean McHugh is also an option at fullback.
