Robert Geathers was put on injured reserve by the Bengals, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View:Geather hurt his knee last Thursday. He was a starter at defensive end for the team and had 2.5 sacks on the year.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Robert Geathers injured his knee in Thursday night's loss in Pittsburgh.

Our View:The extent of his injury is not yet known, but he probably isn't holding a roster spot in any IDP league anyways. He does have 2.5 sacks this season.

Robert Geathers is back at left defensive end after being forced to play linebacker in the middle of the 2007 campaign, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Our View:He will start opposite of Antwan Odom, as the tandem attempts to improve a Bengals' pass rush that ranked among the very worst in 2007. His sack totals should go back up after only registering 3.5 last season. He set a career-high with 10.5 sacks in 2006.

Robert Geathers signed a six-year contract with the Bengals Thursday, according to Sports Network. Financial terms weren't disclosed. Geathers led the team with 10.5 sacks this season.
