Team insiders said there is an 80 percent chance that the Carolina Panthers will select an offensive lineman with the 13th overall pick in the NFL draft, according to Pro Football Weekly. Carolina has focused a lot of their attention on the offensive line during the offseason, in preparation to become more of a power running team in 2008. This tidbit could be a smokescreen, as the team has also been rumored to be looking at a running back, such as Rashard Mendenhall or Jonathan Stewart in the first round.
