October 13, 2008 Cowboys punter Mat McBriar will be out anywhere from six weeks to two months with a broken right foot, according to Matt Mosley of Our View:The injury occurred on the final play of the game when Arizona blocked McBriar's punt to win the game. He is one of the best punters in the league, as he was fourth in the league, averaging 49.0 yards per punt. |

October 12, 2008 Punter Mat McBriar was "pretty hurt" on the blocked punt that turned into the game-winning play for the Cardinals in Week 6, the Our View:Apparently the Cards roughed up more than just McBriar's ego. The Aussie punter was a Pro Bowler in 2006 and is one of the better booters in the league. We'll update his status when more is known. |
