Running back Earnest Graham shifted to fullback during the Week 6 win over the Panthers because Byron Storer injured his knee, the Tampa Tribune reports. The starter volunteered to make the move. "That's what this game is all about," head coach Jon Gruden says. "Earnest Graham stepped up, unselfishly so, and played as good a fullback as we've had a fullback play since I've been here."

Our View:Graham still managed to score a touchdown and help fantasy owners, and if you were worried about the major shift in carries, now you know why. The Bucs will likely find a new fullback in the coming week and return Graham to his usual role.

Running back Earnest Graham carried the ball five times for 11 yards and a touchdown in the Week 6 win over Carolina.

Our View:Graham also chipped in two receptions for 47 yards, and the touchdown marked his sixth consecutive home game with a score.

Running back Earnest Graham rushed 20 times for 111 yards and a touchdown in the Week 4 win over the Packers. He also had one catch for three yards.

Our View:Graham was having a very quiet day until late in the fourth quarter, when he ripped off a 47-yard run and added his score. Hopefully Jon Gruden realizes that Graham is best served when he can punish a defense with 20 or so touches.

Tampa Bay running back Earnest Graham rushed for 116 yards and one touchdown on 15 carries in his team's 24-9 win over the Falcons. He also caught one pass for 12 yards.

Our View:Graham continued his solid play from last season. He is a good choice as a No. 2 running back in fantasy leagues.
September 8, 2008
After a game where running back Earnest Graham had just 10 carries but amassed 91 yards, Tampa Bay head coach Jon Gruden said that he needs to do a better job of getting Graham carries, according to the Tampa Tribune. "I will be the first to say that Earnest played well and we have to get it to him more," Gruden remarked.

Our View:Fantasy owners will second that notion. Graham also had three catches for 27 yards on the day, so it wasn't a lost cause, but had he gotten 5-10 more touches, he could have gone from a good performance to a great performance.
