Carlos Rogers will continue to back up both Shawn Springs and DeAngelo Hall, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Rogers is an excellent cornerback and he deserves to be starting somewhere. The Redskins may seek to move him in the offseason.

Our View:Rogers is the best cover corner on the Redskins with 32 tackles and an interception.

Our View:We remain shocked by his recovery. Rogers underwent surgery last November to repair a torn ACL and MCL, and we fully expected him to open 2008 on the PUP list. The Redskins have to be very pleased.

Our View:He is scheduled to play Saturday against the Jets. If healthy, he will help solidify the Redskins' secondary, but his fantasy value will likely remain low.

Redskins cornerback Carlos Rogers is making progress with his knee, and may see some playing time in the team's next preseason game, reports the Washington Post. Rogers, a former first-round selection, underwent reconstructive knee surgery last year.

Our View:Rogers has not been a bad player, nor has he excelled. He suffered the knee injury in Week 8 last season, and has been out ever since.
