Thomas Davis is predicting to have a career year following his move from the strongside to the weakside at linebacker, according to the Gaston Gazette. He said, "I definitely feel like this is going to be best year by far. So watch out."

Our View:Davis made 88 tackles last season, and should have no problem topping 100 if he remains healthy over the full 16-game slate as a starting weakside linebacker. He ranks as a safe and solid sleeper for IDP leagues.

Thomas Davis has been moved from strongside linebacker to the weakside position, according to the Charlotte Observer. The team expects him to use his speed more from that position to get to the ball.

Our View:Why is this a major move? Because the strongside linebacker is the one who lines up over the tight end, often covering him or fighting through his blocks. Meanwhile, the weakside linebacker does not have to worry about engaging the tight end, and can use his athletic ability in order to make more plays. This move enhances Davis' IDP value in fantasy leagues.
