August 2, 2006 Rams coach Scott Linehan confirmed yesterday that surgeons were unable to repair the PCL in the knee of Marshall Faulk during Friday's surgery, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. the ligament was too damaged to fix. "There wasn't much left of the ligament," Linehan said. "If he wants to have a chance to ever play again, he's probably going to have to have a complete reconstruction." Faulk definitely is out for this season. |

July 29, 2006 Marshall Faulk had surgery on his right knee Friday in Los Angeles, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. A source indicated that the procedure didn't go exactly as expected and that Faulk might need more work on the knee. He will miss the entire 2006 season. |
