Wide receiver Brandon Jones would get the start in place of Justin Gage on Sunday if Gage is unable to go, according to Sporting News Today.

Our View:Jones has three catches for 31 yards on the season, and even if he does start, does not make for a quality fantasy option.

Brandon Jones accepted a conditional guilty plea regarding his June 13 arrest for unlawful possession of a gun, according to the Tennessean.

Our View:He could be at risk of a suspension by the NFL. Jones has been working in three-receiver sets and is still worthy of a late-round pick as a sleeper candidate, assuming a possible suspension wouldn't be long.

Brandon Jones is the most improved player at Titans' camp, according to the Tennessean. He’s looked good catching the ball, and he seems comfortable in the slot.

Our View:Jones has flashed big-play ability at times over his first three seasons in the NFL, but struggled with consistency. Jones is currently working as the number three receiver ahead of Biren Ealy, and could be worth a look as a possible late-round sleeper candidate.

The Nashville City Paper indicates that Brandon Jones has been working as the third receiver in Titans' training camp. When asked if he feels he has a firm grip on the slot role, Jones said, "It’s too early to tell. We’ve got a long way to go. If you ask me this after the fourth preseason game, and I’m still doing my thing out there on the field, then I’d say, yeah, but it’s a long road. I’ve just got to continue to perform out there on the field every single day."

Our View:If Jones can stay healthy and work on his consistency, he could emerge as a sleeper in Mike Heimerdinger's offense. Biren Ealy will battle him for the slot role through camp.

Brandon Jones seems to be safe from any team discipline, e.g. release, stemming from his arrest for a possession of a handgun at the Nashville International Airport earlier in the month, this according to Rototimes sources.

Our View:While some believe he is the most talented receiver, physically, he's not shown the ability to stay healthy. Currently, Justin Gage and Justin McCareins are the favorites to start in the new spread offense.
