Dallas coach Wade Phillips said he would like to get running backs Marion Barber and Felix Jones more carries this week against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to the Dallas Morning News. "We're going to alleviate some of that. We'd like to have longer drives where we have more plays, too," Phillips said.

Our View:This is coming off a game where Jones did not get one carry, and Barber received just eight. Fantasy owners should be giddy to know that the Bengals are not exactly mammoth run stoppers, ranking 28th in the NFL in run defense, giving up over 164 yards per game.

The Star Telegram reports that Wade Phillips admitted the Cowboys did not run the ball often enough in Sunday's loss to the Redskins. Wade said part of the reason for so few carries was that Tony Romo audibled to too many pass plays. It created a glaring imbalance of 47 passes to 11 runs. Marion Barber had only eight carries for 26 yards.

Our View:Barber should bounce back strong next week when Cincinatti comes to town. Week 4 should simply be viewed as an aberration to his typical performances.

Barber had by far his worst game of the season on Sunday, seeing only eight carries and gaining 26 yards. He added two catches for 11 yards.

Our View:The Cowboys were playing from behind all game, passing 47 times and running only 11 times. These types of games should be few and far between for Barber this season.

Marion Barber gained 142 yards on 28 carries against the Packers on Sunday. He had the most yards of any back on Sunday, however he fumbled twice, losing one. Barber added a touchdown, and three catches for 15 yards.

Our View:The Barbarian was at his best on Sunday, but only found the end zone once. He has 285 rushing yards and five touchdowns after three games. Furthermore, his seemed fully recovered from his bruised ribs.

As expected, running back Marion Barber (ribs) is active and will start on Monday night against the Eagles, NFL.com reports.

Our View:Barber practiced all week, so fantasy owners should have already felt free to start him against this NFC East rival.
