The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms with former Arizona linebacker Darryl Blackstock, according to bengals.com. Blackstock, 24, a three-year backup for the Cardinals, has two NFL starts and 44 tackles in 46 career games with four career sacks. Blackstock could get looks at both outside linebacker spots and as a nickel pass rusher in Cincinnati.

Darryl Blackstock, a three-year veteran of the Arizona Cardinals who was not tendered by the team, will visit the Cleveland Browns today and work out tomorrow, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Blackstock is a rush linebacker with experience in the 3-4 defense, thereby familiar with Romeo Crennel's defense and philosophy. Blackstock has been primarily a backup and special-teams player in Arizona, but some scouts think he can develop into an every-down player in the right system. Last season, he had 21 tackles, one forced fumble and three sacks. Miami and Cincinnati are also believed to be interested.

The Arizona Cardinals have failed to tender linebacker Darryl Blackstock, making him an unrestricted free agent, according to the Arizona Republic. Blackstock's agent, Brad Blank, said the Cardinals told him they couldn't afford to tender Blackstock because of the cap situation created by Larry Fitzgerald's contract and efforts to re-sign linebacker Calvin Pace.
