October 6, 2008 Adrian Peterson carried the ball 21 times for an anemic total of 32 rushing yards in the Vikings Monday night victory over the Saints. Our View:AP will eventually bust loose and make someone pay for being held down, but the guy is maddeningly inconsistent from week to week. In 19 career outings this was the fifth time he was held to 45 or fewer yards and he has now gone three straight outings without an 85-yard effort. |

September 28, 2008 Running back Adrian Peterson rushed 18 times for 80 yards and two scores in the Week 4 loss to the Titans. He also caught four passes for 21 yards. Our View:The Titans did a pretty good job of bottling up Peterson, but he still had a very solid day for fantasy owners. That's why he is a superstar. |

He may not post stupendous numbers, but he should still provide plenty of value to be worth starting. |
