The New York Giants have re-signed backup quarterback Jared Lorenzen, according to the New York Daily News. Lorenzen, who signed a one-year tender offer worth $927,000, will be in an interesting summer battle with quarterbacks Anthony Wright and newly signed David Carr for the two backup spots behind Eli Manning. Lorenzen completed 4 of his 8 passes last season for 28 yards, and those are his only regular-season passes during three years in the league.

The New York Giants have tendered backup QB Jared Lorenzen, according to the Daily News. Lorenzen was tendered at the low range amount of $927,000, which means the team has right of first refusal, but will not be compensated if they let him walk.
