July 10, 2008 Santonio Holmes explained he has been working out for the upcoming season since February and did not see it necessary to attend voluntary organized team activities, according to the Our View:Holmes insists he has never worked harder in an offseason, and he has been working out in Florida for months. Either way, he makes an excellent addition to a fantasy roster, and should only improve on his 52 catches and 942 receiving yards. |

January 5, 2008 Santonio Holmes was quiet for most of Saturday's loss to Jacksonville, as he struggled to shake free of Rashean Mathis. The only important play Holmes made was a 37-yard touchdown catch-and-run in the fourth period, but for the rest of the game he netted just two receptions for 12 yards. |
