Minnesota will rely on defensive tackles Fred Evans and Ellis Wyms to step up and fill in for suspended line mates Kevin and Pat Williams, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Our View:Evans has just three tackles on the year, and Wyms has four, with one sack. Either way, they will not be able to replace the two Williamses production, so fantasy owners with running backs who play Minnesota could benefit from this.

The NFL suspended Fred Evans for two games without pay for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He was arrested twice earlier this year before he joined the Vikings.

Our View:Evans is a backup defensive lineman. In other words, his absence should not be of any concern to IDP owners. Nevertheless, he is eligible to return in Week 15.

The Dolphins have waived Fred Evans. Evans was let go after being arrested in South Beach last Saturday morning for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest with violence, battery on a police officer and trespassing.

Fred Evans became the latest NFL player to be arrested. He had to be subdued by a Taser gun after allegedly throwing up in a taxi, taking a swing at the cab driver and getting into a scuffle with Miami Beach police early Saturday morning, according to the Miami Herald. He was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, resisting with violence, and trespassing. Roger Goodell has to be rolling his eyes at this news. Evans was set for a larger role this season, but he may face punishment from the Dolphins and/or Goodell.
