Linebacker Chad Greenway recorded 16 solo tackles in the Week 11 loss to the Buccaneers. He also notched a sack for the third straight game and deflected a pass.

Our View:Greenway is a solid IDP talent, but, wow, 16 solo tackles was unexpected. His previous career-high was eight solo stops.

Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway has been impressive for the Vikings this preseason, and he could be in for a breakout year, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View:The team apparently wasn't enthralled with Greenway, even though he made 105 tackles, forced two fumbles, recovered four and intercepted two passes in 2007. If he gets better, then his use in IDP leagues will be necessary.

The Vikings have lost rookie Chad Greenway for the season, according to the Star-Tribune. Their top draft pick injured his left knee in the preseason opener, likely tearing his ACL.

Vikings rookie linebacker Chad Greenway suffered a left knee injury in Monday night's preseason game. Greenway was able to walk around on the sidelines, but there are indications that the injury may be serious. He will undergo an MRI on Tuesday.

Chad Greenway signed a contract with the Vikings Thursday that's worth up to $13.25 million with roster and performance bonuses, according to the AP. Greenway is expected to challenge for a starting job during training camp.
