Johnny Jolly's hearing for felony drug charges has been delayed to December 9 due to bad weather, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Our View:Jolly doesn't have any value in IDP leagues at this time, with just 35 total tackles on the year.
October 29, 2008
Packers defensive tackle Johnny Jolly was in court but did not offer a plea, as it is possible he could get an agreement worked out with prosecutors concerning his arrest for 200 grams of codeine, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:There is a pretrial motion scheduled for early December, which means should he go to trial, it would likely occur at the conclusion of the NFL season.
October 27, 2008
DT Johnny Jolly has been indicted on charges stemming from his July 8th arrest for having in his possession 200 grams of codeine, according to Packer News.

Our View:We'll be interested to see how Jolly's lawyers try to explain why he had 200 grams codeine. Perhaps he just had a very bad cough.
September 30, 2008
Packers defensive tackle Johnny Jolly had his court date to face felony drug charges moved to October 28, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:Jolly was in a car with friends which was found to have 200 grams of liquid codeine in it. The date of the hearing has now been moved back on three different occasions.
August 28, 2008
Johnny Jolly's court date regarding felony drug charges has been moved to September 16, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Jolly was arrested July 8 in Houston for possession of at least 200 grams of codeine, which constitues a second-degree felony, according to court documents. He posted $10,000 bond and was released at the time.

Our View:Jolly has been taking part in Packers' training camp and is expected to suit up for the team's preseason finale Thursday night. At the September 16 court date, a decision will be made whether to continue on with the charges. If Jolly is indicted, he has the option to make a plea agreement or seek a trial. A trial date would be decided at that time. The grand jury has the option of calling in Jolly to testify. If the grand jury doesn't come to a decision before the new trial date, the September 16 hearing will be an examining trial to see if there is enough evidence to bring the case to trial.
