He has been productive among defensive linemen in IDP leagues with 37 tackles (16 solo) and a half sack. He is the only solid tackle on the Bengals' roster, and would be a tough loss for an already struggling defense. |

June 28, 2008 Signing defensive tackle Domata Peko to a five-year contract extension through 2014 might be the best move the Bengals made during the offseason. The run stuffer does a great job providing all important pressure up the middle on passing downs, especially for a team that offers little from their rush ends. Our View:With Peko, Robert Geathers and Antwan Odom signed to long-term deals, the Bengals defensive line is solid even if they don't put up big sack numbers. |

Our View:Peko is a solid presence at defensive tackle, and registered 52 tackles (36 solo) in 2006, with 1.5 sacks and one fumble recovery. Peko was worth the investment to remain in Cincinnati, and he still has room to improve. |
