Week 14 inactives: QB Drew Stanton (3rd), QB Dan Orlovsky, DB Keith Smith, LB Alex Lewis, G Manny Ramirez, G Damion Cook, WR Shaun McDonald, DE Dewayne White.

Our View:Kevin Smith is active for a tough matchup with the Williams Wall. With McDonald out, the Lions will use John Standeford as the No. 2 and Keary Colbert as the No. 3. Calvin Johnson will draw a lot of attention.

Drew Stanton was limited in Thursday's practice and is doubtful for Sunday's game against Minnesota while recovering from a concussion, according to the Detroit News.

Our View:He wouldn't merit fantasy consideration if cleared to play. As previously stated, Daunte Culpepper is slated to make another start, this time against his former team.

Lions quarterback Drew Stanton is doubtful for the team's game on Thanksgiving Day due to a concussion, according to MLive.com.

Our View:Stanton suffered the malady on Sunday after he replaced an ineffective Daunte Culpepper. He has no fantasy value even when he does play.
November 23, 2008
Drew Stanton, who earlier had replaced an ineffective Daunte Culpepper, exited the game against Tampa Bay in the fourth quarter with a concussion.

Our View:Culpepper is back under center with the Lions down 38-20 in the fourth quarter.
November 14, 2008
Daunte Culpepper will start Week 11 at Carolina, but Drew Stanton could see some action in the game, according to MLive.com. Offensive coordinator Jim Colletto said, "We'll see how the game plays out. This if the first time Daunte's played on the road and the there could be silent count problems and we'll see how he adjusts to that. We'll let the game dictate that. We did the goal-line thing a week ago for a specific reason and we probably won't do that this time."

Our View:This is favorable news for Stanton, but neither quarterback should make a positive impact against the Panthers' fourth ranked pass defense.
