Brandon Jackson was unable to play in Sunday's game against Seattle due to flu-like symptoms, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:Coach Mike McCarthy believes he will be ready to return in Week 7 against the Colts. Ryan Grant registered a season-high 33 carries (for 90 yards) with Jackson out of action.

Brandon Jackson led the Packers rushers Sunday with 61 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. He added a two-yard reception.

Our View:Ryan Grant really struggled, but Jackson kept the running game afloat. He should receive around 10 touches per game going forward.

Brandon Jackson is active today despite suffering a mild concussion last week.

Our View:Jackson will play second fiddle to Ryan Grant, but he could get enough touches against the Lions to be a worthy flex play.

Brandon Jackson did not participate at all in Wednesday's practice while recovering from a concussion, but he participated in the jog-through in pads Thursday, then did some rehab work after that, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:The injury is minor, and he could be a decent option for deeper leagues if he is cleared to play in Week 2 against a Lions' team that surrendered 220 rushing yards to Michael Turner last Sunday. Jackson is expected to receive 5-10 carries a game while spelling Ryan Grant.

Packers backup running back Brandon Jackson did not participate at all in practice on Wednesday as he is recovering form a concussion that he sustained in the second half of Monday's game. Head coach Mike McCarthy classified the injury as minor, according to the Packers official web site.

Our View:In Monday's win verse the Vikings, Jackson had only 12 rushing yards on seven attempts. Starter Ryan Grant is battling a nagging hamstring injury, so if Jackson can recover from his concussion he could see a few more carries this week.
