August 31, 2008 Running back Thomas Clayton signed with the 49ers practice squad, the AP reports. He led the club in rushing in both the 2007 and 2008 preseasons. Our View:The 49ers would have to go through Frank Gore, DeShaun Foster, and Michael Robinson before getting to Clayton, so there's no fantasy value here. He might have been better off getting a shot with another team. |
