September 30, 2008 Running back Gary Russell will probably be signed off the Steelers' practice squad and onto their active roster, according to the Our View:The Steelers are down two running backs in Willie Parker and Rashard Mendenhall, so they signed Najeh Davenport and will bring Russell up. He was re-signed to their practice squad a week ago after being cut, and will now make the leap to the active roster. |
