Running back Jonathan Stewart (foot) is active for the Week 4 game against the Falcons.

Our View:Fantasy owners should feel free to use Stewart this week.

Jonathan Stewart is on the Panthers injury report with a toe issue, but he will play this weekend regardless, according to the Rock Hill Herald.

Our View:This appears to be a great matchup for the Panthers rushing attack given the struggles the Falcons have shown this year stopping anyone from moving the chains on the ground.

Jonathan Stewart showed up on the Panthers injury list on Thursday due to a toe injury, according to NFL.com.

Our View:Stewart had surgery in March to help heal a turf toe injury and it looks like it might be flaring up again. There is no news on what his status is for Week 4.

Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams are both considered starters by coach John Fox and he indicated they will continue to split carries, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Our View:This is reasonable, but Stewart does deserve to get the ball more. He is averaging 4.7 yards per carry, and has gained one more yard than Williams (145) on eight fewer rushes. He has also punched in three touchdowns while Williams is still held with none. As of now, Stewart should be the preferred back among fantasy owners.

Rookie Jonathan Stewart posted seven carries for 16 yards and one touchdown in the Panthers Week 3 loss to Minnesota.

Our View:Stewart, who has scored three touchdowns in the past two games, appears to be the Panthers' primary goal line back. It was tough sledding this week against a tough Vikings run defense, but better days are on the horizon with Atlanta and Kansas City on the schedule during the next two weeks.
